Indiefresh. From webradio to live gigs

Indiefresh the webradio

Back in 2013, I was hired as a graphic designer at Radionomy (now Shoutcast). The platform allowed anyone to create their own webradio. Naturally, I launched mine under the name Indiefresh Radio, broadcasting all my indie rock discoveries 24/7.

Gain in popularity

Very quickly, the station found its audience and became something of a go-to channel on the platform for this genre, with thousands of daily listening hours worldwide. A personal highlight came when I met one of my favorite artists, Kurt Vile, who even recorded a custom jingle for Indiefresh.

A new era : CONCERTS

A few years later, after training as a stage technician at Pianofabriek, I felt like taking things further: bringing the project from the digital world to real life. I started organizing concerts in Brussels, taking care of both communication and technical aspects.
Only four shows happened before the 2020 pandemic cut everything short.

Let’s make some playlists

During lockdown, Indiefresh tried to live on through a series of monthly Spotify playlists

Today, you can still dive into a 90-hour Spotify retrospective, a living archive of years of passion and indie discoveries.

Psst, you should listen in shuffle… 😉
